OVERVIEW

I started my Etsy shop in 2021 while I was in first year of my MA/MBA programs. While I was sitting in class on Zoom, I pulled out some old beading supplies I had tucked away to keep my hands busy. My family suggested setting up an Etsy shop, and I thought it would be a good idea since I was studying business every day and I could apply what I was learning to my store.

It took a month or two to take off, but my shop was (and is) a hit! I'm a bestseller under "beaded necklaces," and I've done a lot of experimenting, testing, and researching to figure out Etsy's SEO works. Along the way, I've learned about and practiced every business activity (product design and research, SEO, inventory management, marketing, and customer service to name a few) as a team of just 1.
